Not the finest performance Slough will produce this season as for long periods they were second best to Daventry, but a result which picks up three points and moves the Rebels into third place.
Under pressure for much of the first half which saw the visiting side strike the woodwork and have shots cleared off the line, the game came to life in the second half.
Daventry broke away and took the lead through Bellingham. Slough struck back with what appeared to be a softer penalty awarded than a shout a few minutes previously with Burnell sending the keeper the wrong way.
Slough struck the winner through Coyne with a few minutes remaining in a performance which showed great character from the squad.
