Slough struck a late, late winner to earn three points and maintain their two point lead at the top of the table this afternoon with a narrow win over struggling Bedfont Town.

A defensive lapse allowed Rees Stanislaus a free header with thirty six minutes played before Alex Brown equalised for Slough on the stroke of half time.

Both sides continued to press in the second half and despite missing a penalty after eighty four minutes, Burnell showed character to step up and convert a second penalty in injury time and seal the win.
