Late Kolodynski goal downs Slough - Highlights

A changed Rebels side to the one which had fought hard to hold Blue Square Premier side Mansfield Town to a draw on Saturday took to the pitch looking to add three more league points to the total.

However, Rugby Town came away with the points despite the first half dismissal of Palmer for two bookable offences. Slough were caught napping at the start of the second half as Lake-Gaskin waltzed through to score within seconds of the restart and Kolodynski doubled the lead pouncing on an error from Warrington.

Slough claimed a spirited fightback, despite having defender Danny Murphy dismissed for a professional foul, with goals from Danny Burnell and Ed Smith. Slough pressed on in search for a winner, but were caught out in the final minute as Kolodynski was put clean through and kept his cool to slot past Warrington at the second attempt.
