Slough Town came out winners in this closely contested FA Cup Preliminary Round encounter against their Kent League opponents.

Behind in the first half as some pressure from the visitors put them deservedly in front, Slough pulled level on the stroke of half time through defender Nathan Bowden-Haase before going into the lead through a Danny Burnell volley from a narrow angle.

Sean Sonner extended the lead before an almighty downpour led to the players leaving the field for ten minutes. WIth ten minutes of the match remaining, Corinthians pulled one back after discussion between referee and assistant rightly let the goal stand. Sonner was able to restore the Rebels two goal lead with five minutes remaining to ensure safe passge into the first qualifying round.
