Slough Town goalkeeper Jack Turner has won the Vanarama National League South Player of the Month award for September.
A string of impressive performances between the sticks helped his side win all four matches last month, a run which has propelled the Rebels into 5th position. Jack kept a clean sheet in three of those matches, the other being the win at Eastbourne Borough where Slough played with ten men for the majority of the game.
Jack’s close-range reaction save at Chelmsford City, where Slough won 1-0, will live long in the memory and has been viewed more than 24,000 times on social media.
