It has been a remarkable journey and I would to like to thank everyone for their help and support, without which the club would not be where it is today

Following Monday’s final home game of the season I have decided to stand down as Chairman. I don’t think this is a complete surprise as I did announce my intentions over two years ago!
It has been a remarkable journey and I would to like to thank everyone for their help and support, without which the club would not be where it is today.
The club is in a strong position to continue to move forwards and of course I will still be around to help and assist as required. In the meantime, Vice Chairman John Porter will be acting Chairman.
It has taken a huge amount of effort to get the club to where it is and I could not have done it alone - so once again thank you to everyone, be it volunteer, supporter, sponsor, manager or player as without you all we would not be where we are today - strong and confident about our future.
If I don’t see you before - have a great summer and see you on the terraces next season.
