Preview: Rebels prepare for Bank Holiday weekend

An update on the squad from Neil Baker ahead of tomorrow's match.

23/08/19

Tomorrow we welcome Bath City to Arbour Park in what will be another tough game in National League South.

Whilst we have not had the first win yet, our last two performances have shown the standards that we require and have resulted in very creditable points.

Obviously Bath have started fantastically and under Jerry Gill they always have a side challenging towards the top.

Injuries has been the biggest issue for us this season, and that is still causing us various issues - however we are starting to get some positives. Firstly Josh Jackman and Joe Grant both got minutes into their legs on Tuesday night in a friendly for Badshot Lea, and come into contention for this weekend.

Also Mark Nisbet had a small procedure on his heart on Thursday which was successful and has been given the all-clear to resume training, and again we could see him included in the squad this weekend.

We will be missing Francis Amartey through suspension this weekend, whilst Simon Dunn is probably only at 80 per cent from his hamstring injury.

We also have a couple who will have a late fitness test tomorrow.

Squad from: Jack Turner, Nojus Trinovas, Josh Jackman, Sean Fraser, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Sam Togwell, Mark Nisbet, Warren Harris, Max Worsfold, Joe Grant, Lee Togwell, Matthew Lench, Scott Davies, Dan Roberts, Ryan Bird, Ben Harris, Manny Williams.
