We make the trip down the M4 tomorrow for what we know will be a hard-fought FA Cup Third Round Qualifying game against a Chippenham side that we know very well, writes Jon Underwood.
It’s a tough place to go and we’ve not yet won there as managers, but confidence is high with the form that we are in currently and we’ll travel with a lot of belief. We have no doubt we’ll be backed once again by our brilliant away support which should make for a cracking cup tie atmosphere.
We have a strong squad to choose from and have made the decision to allow Francis Amartey and Joe Grant to play in the FA Cup tomorrow for their respective loan clubs, Hendon and Hayes & Yeading, who actually face each other. It’s important that both of them get a run of games at this stage but it’s a decision we had to give a lot of thought to and did not take lightly.
There is positive news on Guy Hollis who began light training this week and we expect him to step up to full training next week.
