Wealdstone: Matchday arrangements

Information for supporters ahead of the big Boxing Day match at Arbour Park.

24/12/19

There's Boxing Day football at Arbour Park - and it's 2nd vs 1st as we host top-of-the-table Wealdstone!

After the disappointment of two postponements and a blank weekend, we're back at Arbour Park with a huge three points up for grabs.

A much larger than average crowd is expected, and as usual we have pulled together some useful information for supporters in advance.

Admission

Kick off is at 13:00, and the turnstiles will be open from around 11:30.

A limited amount of free parking will be available at Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy. Please note that the car park at St Joseph’s School is open to Parking permit holders only. It will be open from around 11:30 to 12:45 and then after the game for cars to leave.

As public transport services will be reduced and car parking at or around Arbour Park is limited, we strongly advise supporters to take advantage of the many public car parks which are a 10-15 minute walk away. More details around parking arrangements can be found further below.

Admission prices are as below:

Adult (18-64) - £13
Concession (65+) - £9
Student (16-17, Student) - £5
Child (5-15) - £3 (12 year old and under must be accompanied by an Adult)
Infant (0-4) - Free

Arbour Park does not have ATMs on site. Credit and debit cards are accepted at Turnstile 4, the Club Shop and main bar in the West Stand. Please note that smoking or vaping is not permitted inside Arbour Park. Anyone wishing to smoke can get their hand stamped by a steward at the exit gates, and be allowed back in afterwards.

Supporters in wheelchairs, or with mobility issues should enter Arbour Park via the front entrance.

Please note that dogs are not permitted at Arbour Park, except guide dogs.

Food & drink

The bar and kitchen area on the first floor of the West Stand, and the tea bar on the ground floor of the West Stand will be open to all supporters, selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks.

We will also have a second tea bar open on the East Stand side, selling hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks and rolls.

Parking

Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (adjacent to Arbour Park) - Slough Town supporters who have purchased a parking permit will have a reserved parking space. There is a limited number of unreserved spaces here for all supporters, available on a first come, first served basis.

Arbour Park - Please note that there will be no parking available to supporters here as this will be required for players and officials.

There is a limited number of unreserved marked Blue Badge parking spaces at Arbour Park, available on a first come, first served basis for Blue Badge holders. The post code for sat navs is SL2 5AY.

St Joseph’s Catholic High School - Slough Town supporters who have purchased a parking permit will have a reserved parking space. The post code for sat navs is SL2 5HN. There are no unreserved spaces here.

Off street parking is extremely limited - however there are a number of car parks within walking distance. We would strongly encourage supporters to car-share or travel by public transport where possible. The ground is conveniently situated approximately half a mile from the train and bus stations where plenty of car parking can also be found. Click the link for more information. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to walk from the station and the car parks.

On Boxing Day, parking is available at the TVU car park (Slough Station - West) for a charge of £3.50. The post code for this car park is SL1 1YG and is the closest public car park to Arbour Park.

If you do park in residential streets, please be respectful to our neighbours – keep noise to a minimum, and do not litter. When parking, do not block entranceways and driveways, and do not park dangerously, including on blind corners. There are a number of car parks within walking distance of Arbour Park.
