Tonight we look forward to our 8th pre-season friendly as we face fellow National League South side Oxford City at Arbour Park, writes Jon Underwood.
It might be seen as a little unusual to play a side from your own league but we won't face them until Christmas and this time last week neither of us had a confirmed opponent for tonight so we took the opportunity to give ourselves another really good test against a very good side.
We are still without Warren Harris who awaits a scan on the knee injury he picked up in the game at Kings Langley, while both Scott Davies and Gabe George will sit out tonight with minor injuries but should be fine for the weekend.
The other absentee tonight is George Hunt who misses out through illness so we will have the following 16-man squad:
Jonathan North, Josh Jackman, Sean Fraser, Freddie Grant, Guy Hollis, Ryan Bird, Mark Nisbet, Lee Togwell, Aaron Kuhl, Matt Lench, Eitel Goueth, Paul Hodges, Max Worsfold, Joe Lawal, Tom Derry, Ben Harris.
