Arsenal XI: Matchday arrangements

Important information for supporters ahead of Tuesday evening's match against Arsenal XI at Arbour Park.

09/08/21

We now turn our attention to Tuesday evening’s match against a young Arsenal XI, and look forward to welcoming the largest crowd to Arbour Park since our FA Cup tie against Gillingham in 2018.

The club has been involved in complex planning for this event, with input and direction from external authorities and police representatives. We would ask for the understanding of supporters as staging an event of this nature puts increased stress on our infrastructure.

We would like to make all supporters aware of the following arrangements for this match.

Getting to Arbour Park

The advice is to please use alternative forms of transport wherever possible to get to the match. If you do have to drive then matchday parking is available in Slough Town centre. There will be no public parking at Arbour Park or Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy. For supporters with parking permits at St Joseph’s School, we can confirm that these are valid for this match.

We ask that supporters avoid parking in local streets, and please be respectful to our neighbours on your journey to and from Arbour Park.

There are many public car parks nearer the town centre which are within walking distance of Arbour Park (10-15 minutes). Arbour Park is conveniently situated approximately half a mile from Slough’s train and bus stations. Click here for a map of local car parks within walking distance of Arbour Park.

There is a limited number of unreserved marked Blue Badge parking spaces at Arbour Park, available on a first come, first served basis for Blue Badge holders.

Admission

General admission tickets for this match are SOLD OUT and tickets will not be available on the evening.

Slough Town 2021/22 Season ticket holders can gain FREE admission to this match. Please ensure your Season ticket is purchased by midday on Tuesday to ensure we have your details at the turnstiles in time. Click here to purchase 2021/22 Season tickets, reserved seating and parking permits.

Turnstile 1 (nearest to Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy) and Turnstile 4 (the town end) will both be open. Supporters with tickets should enter through the turnstiles, and Season ticket holders should enter via the side gates next to the turnstiles. Turnstile 4 will open at 6.30pm and Turnstile 1 at 6.45pm.

With tickets purchased in advance, please present your valid ticket, either printed or shown on a smartphone, at the turnstiles. We ask that you please have this ready before entering the turnstiles to avoid long queues forming.

No segregation will be in place.

Ground regulations

Please be aware that in line with the latest Government event safety advice, searches of bags and coats will take place. Anyone in possession of pyrotechnics or other objects such as flares, smoke bombs or bangers will be refused entry. Any anti-social behaviour will be taken very seriously and CCTV is in place at the ground to monitor behaviour and record events. Any acts of criminal damage or vandalism, including but not limited to the throwing of objects onto the pitch, will result in immediate ejection from the ground and prosecution.

Food and drink

Two bars will be in operation – the bar in the main stand (West Stand) and a temporary bar located in the south-east (scoreboard) corner, just outside the inner perimeter.

The sale and consumption of alcohol during the match is prohibited but will be permitted prior to, and after the match. Alcohol will not be allowed around the ground and may only consumed in either the West Stand bar or corner bar.

No alcoholic drinks will be served in the West Stand bar from 7.30pm and all alcoholic drinks must be consumed prior to kick-off. Please also be aware that it may be necessary to restrict access to the bar in the event of high demand. Alcohol will also not be served at half time.

The bar in the south-east (scoreboard) corner will remain open throughout the match.

Outside bars and tea bars will be open within the perimeter of the stadium. Food will be available from the kitchen upstairs in the West Stand, from the teabar downstairs in the West Stand (pasties, sausage rolls etc.) and from another teabar near the East Stand (burgers, hotdogs, hot and cold drinks).

The club shop will also be open, giving supporters the chance to purchase our new silver away shirt as well as many other items.

Seating

All seating is unreserved and available on a first come, first served basis.
