Chelmsford City: Matchday arrangements

Information for supporters ahead of our National League South season opener on Saturday afternoon.

After months of anticipation, the 2021/22 National League South season begins on Saturday as we welcome Chelmsford City to Arbour Park!

We would like to make all supporters aware of the following arrangements for this match.

Getting to Arbour Park

Directions to Arbour Park are available by clicking this link. Slough Rail station is on the mainline to London Paddington. Arbour Park is a 15-minute walk from the station.

Please be aware that the M4 is closed between Junctions 5-6 this weekend.

Admission

General admission tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the turnstiles. We accept payment by cash or card, and cash is accepted around the ground. Ticket prices, which include online booking fees, are:

Adult (18-64) - £15
Concession (65+) - £9
Student (16-17, Student) - £5
Child (5-15) - £3 (12 year old and under must be accompanied by an Adult)
Infant (0-4) - Free

With tickets purchased in advance, please present your valid ticket at turnstile 4, either printed or shown on a smartphone. We ask that you please have this ready before entering to avoid long queues forming.

We will be opening Arbour Park earlier than usual and will be screening the Manchester United v Leeds United game in the bar (kick-off 12.30pm). Access is via the main front entrance at Arbour Park, not the turnstiles. There will be no access to the rest of Arbour Park from the bar area.

The turnstiles (1 and 4) will open from around 1.30pm. Turnstile 1 is to the left of the ground as approached from the front, and turnstile 4 to the right.

Arbour Park does not have ATMs on site. Credit and debit cards are accepted at Turnstile 4, the Club Shop and main bar in the West Stand.

Please note that no smoking or vaping is permitted inside Arbour Park. Anyone wishing to smoke can get their hand stamped by a steward at the exit gates and be allowed back in afterwards.

Supporters in wheelchairs, or with mobility issues should enter Arbour Park via the front entrance.

Season tickets

Season tickets can be collected from the turnstiles. Any uncollected Season tickets will be posted on Monday.

Junior Rebels can collect their replica shirts from the Club Shop.

Parking

A limited amount of free parking will be available at Arbour Park and Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy. Please note that the car park at St Joseph’s School is open to parking permit holders only. It will be open from around 1.30pm to 2.45pm and then after the game for cars to leave.

Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (adjacent to Arbour Park) - There is a limited number of unreserved spaces here for all supporters, available on a first come, first served basis.

Arbour Park - There is a limited number of unreserved parking spaces elsewhere on the Arbour Park site for all other supporters. These spaces are not available until 30 minutes before kick-off and are on a first come, first served basis. Please follow the directions provided by parking stewards.

There is a limited number of unreserved marked Blue Badge parking spaces at Arbour Park, available on a first come, first served basis for Blue Badge holders. The post code for sat navs is SL2 5AY.

St Joseph’s Catholic High School - Slough Town supporters who have purchased a parking permit will have a reserved parking space. The post code for sat navs is SL2 5HN. There are no unreserved spaces here.

Off street parking is extremely limited - however there are several car parks within walking distance. We would strongly encourage supporters to car-share or travel by public transport where possible. The ground is conveniently situated approximately half a mile from the train and bus stations. There are many public car parks nearer the town centre which are within walking distance of Arbour Park (10-15 minutes). If you do park in residential streets, please be respectful to our neighbours – keep noise to a minimum, and do not litter. When parking, do not block entranceways and driveways, and do not park dangerously, including on blind corners.

Food and drink

The bar and kitchen area on the first floor of the West Stand, and the tea bar on the ground floor of the West Stand will be open to all supporters, selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks.

We will also have a second bar open inside the ground near turnstile 1 selling alcohol and snacks.

The club shop will also be open, giving supporters the chance to purchase our new silver away shirt as well as many other items.

Seating

Many of the seats in the West Stand are reserved for those supporters with reserved seating. All other seating is unreserved and available on a first come, first served basis.

Ground regulations

Please be aware that in line with the latest Government event safety advice, searches of bags and coats will take place. Anyone in possession of pyrotechnics or other objects such as flares, smoke bombs or bangers will be refused entry. Any anti-social behaviour will be taken very seriously, and CCTV is in place at the ground to monitor behaviour and record events. Any acts of criminal damage or vandalism, including but not limited to the throwing of objects onto the pitch, will result in immediate ejection from the ground and prosecution.
