Whilst our National League South team may just be thinking about returning for pre-season training this week, the girls and Ladies' teams haven't actually finished their season yet!
One of our U10 and two of our U12 girls teams entered the Wildcats World Cup tournament at George Green on Saturday. In the intense heat, all the teams did well, coming away with one piece of silverware. We welcomed some new players ahead of next season, who all seem to have fitted in well already.
On Sunday our new Ladies team played their first 11-a-side friendly, having only played in tournaments to this point. They travelled to Kent to take on Sittingbourne Ladies. The game gave the managers a good insight on the work left to do before the season starts in September, but was full of positives with Slough Town Ladies winning the game 5-2.
