It’s a clean sweep for the Rebels in the National League’s September awards!
Not only have Jon Underwood and Neil Baker jointly won the MANarama National League South Manager of the Month award, but Warren Harris also takes the divisional Player of the Month award following a September to remember for the club.
The Rebels began the month in 15th place and ended it in 6th after winning all four of their league matches, whilst also progressing in the Emirates FA Cup – continuing a run started in August which now means we are unbeaten in our last nine league games.
Taking into account the end of last season, we have now lost just three of our last 22 National League South matches!
Warren Harris - who has now scored 53 goals in his 255 appearances for the club - played a pivotal role in the Rebels’ success, scoring twice in his four September appearances, against Eastbourne Borough and Hemel Hempstead Town. He also had a hand in several other goals.
It is the second time Jon and Neil have won a Manager of the Month award at this level, after scooping the March 2019 award last season.
