We are pleased to announce the signing of 26 year old attacking midfielder Kurtis Cumberbatch, writes Jon Underwood.
Having previously impressed at Harrow Borough, Kurtis came to our attention in the 2018/19 season when he scored 14 goals from midfield for Farnborough, and this form earned him a move to National League side Dover Athletic.
He spent the next two seasons there making 25 appearances across the two Covid-hit campaigns before joining Billericay Town at the start of this season. Following a change of manager there and an injury sustained as the new manager came in, it was mutually agreed recently that he could leave the club to explore other opportunities.
After training with us twice this week, Kurtis signed National League South forms last night and providing his registration goes through with no problems today, he will go straight in to the squad for tomorrow's game with Welling United.
