We are delighted to announce the signing of Tyrese Owen from Kingstonian.
A versatile player, 23-year-old Tyrese can operate either in central midfield or at centre back and has also chipped in with 10 goals already this season.
Manager Scott Davies commented: “Tyrese is someone that’s been on our radar for a while now. At 6’6" he brings a physical presence but is also a very technically gifted player.
“He can play both at centre half and centre midfield which gives us another player with that bit of versatility which is so important when having a small squad.
“After speaking with Temi Eweka, who is a friend of his, he’s chosen us over a number of other clubs in our division as he feels as though it’s the best place for him to learn and develop which is great news for us. We look forward to working with him.”
Tyrese will be joining us on a contract until the end of the season which we will then review in the summer.
