We are delighted to announce that we are offering a new delivery programme to secondary schools in partnership with our away kit sponsors EPIC Risk Management. EPIC are the world’s leading gambling harm minimisation company, working in 22 countries across the world and their aim is to ‘take the problem out of gambling.’

The session itself will last for around one hour, where Scott Davies, our first team player-manager will go through his personal story of how gambling impacted his life, followed by education and finishing with mental health signposting slides which will highlight the importance of talking when a problem arises.

The sessions will be available free of charge for 25 local schools in this academic year. Scott will facilitate his 'Lived Experience' sessions to a year group of your choice - most suitable for Year 10 upwards. Scott has been delivering sessions to the highest risk sectors of gambling addiction for the past 7 years, with schools being one of the most affected areas due to the changes in online gaming for young people.

To kick start our new programme we would like to invite a representative(s) from your school's staff to our home, Arbour Park Stadium on Thursday 9th November 10:00-11:30am to view Scott's session. To attend please click this link to book.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at ashley.smith@sloughtownfc.net. We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday 9th November.
