We are delighted to announce that Johnny Goddard has won the Vanarama National League Player of the Month award for the South division in November!
Last month, Johnny played six games, scoring four goals which included two stunning free kicks against Welling United (league) and Farnborough (FA Trophy). He played a major part in league victories over Havant & Waterlooville and Braintree Town, scoring in both matches as we climbed the National League South table. Johnny is currently in a rich vein of goal scoring form from midfield, with eight in his last 14 appearances in all competitions.
He was part of the side which held Grimsby Town to a 1-1 draw at Arbour Park in the FA Cup, and helped the Rebels make progress in the FA Trophy by defeating Farnborough.
Johnny also had a hand in several goals, including the assist for our equaliser against Grimsby at Blundell Park.
