On Sunday 22 December we are opening Arbour Park to Slough’s homeless, providing food, showers and haircuts – and we need your help.
We are appealing for donations of any of the below items. Please bring them along to our home games against Tonbridge Angels (Saturday 30 November) or Braintree Town (Saturday 7 December) and leave them with Mark Bailey – ask for him behind the bar in the main stand.
• Warm coats
• Sleeping bags
• Jumpers / Hoodies
• Men’s trainers sizes 9-11
• NEW underwear and socks
• Blankets and clean towels
• Toiletries – toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll on deodorant (non-aerosol), Shower gels
• Books – Fiction and non-fiction
We are also looking for volunteers in the kitchen, a barber/hairdresser and a couple of people to help sort out the clothes and distribute them on the day. If you can help, please email mark.bailey@sloughtownfc.net or call/text 07429 118940.
