The new Slough Town U10 Girls team took to the field for the first time yesterday.
Straight from the kick-off, the girls took the game to the opposition – and with a bit of composure they could have taken an early lead.
Playing for first time as a team and on a full-size pitch did not phase any of the girls. Just a few defensive errors, which we will work on, was the only reason the opposition managed to score.
The Slough girls never gave up and were rewarded by scoring spectacular goals against a more experienced opposition. They all came off at the end of the game smiling and they learned something more about this beautiful game.
Well done girls – we are proud of our newest addition to the Slough Town Juniors FC family and it was lovely to hear that you had a great day!
