We are pleased to say that despite us announcing last month that Ben Harris would be leaving the club, this decision has been reversed and he will be part of our squad after all!
Having met with Ben for an honest conversation this week, all three of us agreed he should be playing his football at Arbour Park this season. For us as managers Ben’s ability has never been in doubt and he is a popular member of the dressing room, but our original decision was based on his fitness issues. Ben has worked tirelessly over the summer to get in really good condition, and we feel that a fit Ben Harris will be a real asset to us and we have reached agreement on a deal for him to remain a Rebel.
