Everyone at Slough Town Football Club was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II yesterday.
We thank her for her incredible service and send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.
All National League System, FA Trophy, and grassroots fixtures scheduled for this weekend will not take place as a mark of respect.
As a result, our trip to Dover Athletic has been postponed and a new date will be agreed and communicated in due course.
Slough Town Ladies’ Vitality Women's FA Cup tie against Milton United Ladies has also been postponed.
At this moment, National League fixtures will go ahead as planned from Monday 12 September onwards, meaning our home match against Taunton Town on Tuesday evening will take place as scheduled.
