As we near the 50th anniversary of our Amateur Cup final appearance at Wembley Stadium, we’ve teamed up with TOFFS to produce a replica of the shirt worn by the Slough Town players.
Whilst the result didn’t go our way on that day back in April 1973, we know that this commemorative replica shirt will stir up a lot of happy memories among our supporters who remember their big day at Wembley. And with Christmas approaching, it could also make a perfect gift idea.
TOFFS – The Old Fashioned Football Shirt Company – are the number one destination for classic football shirts that recreate the most famous vintage shirt designs of yesteryear. All shirts are manufactured by hand at their factory in Gateshead, with a premium level of detail, comfort and authenticity. The commemorative Slough Town jersey features the unique embroidered badge worn on the players’ shirts and is made from high-quality thick cotton.
We are looking to make a bulk order from TOFFS for collection at the club shop at Arbour Park, or to be posted for an additional fee. Supporters can now place their orders online or with Sue at the club shop on Saturday when we face Hemel Hempstead Town, or on Saturday 22 October when we face Weymouth. We need to meet a minimum order quantity and will need to allow 2-3 weeks for the shirts to be produced, so are looking to place the order by the end of October. In the event that we do not meet the minimum order required, we will refund purchasers.
The shirts will be available at a cost of £45 excluding postage. We strongly recommend checking the TOFFS size guide before ordering, available at TOFFS.com.
There is also the possibility of having a replica made of the tracksuit top worn by the Slough team at Wembley. To register your interest, please either inform Sue or add a comment when ordering your replica jersey online, or email shop@sloughtownfc.net. We believe this would cost around £52-£55 if produced.
