The club’s Official Website has undergone some changes ahead of the new season – and the club now appeals to you, the loyal supporters of the club, to help complete the project.

Over the past few years, the website team has been working on collating data on the club’s fixtures and results, spanning 122 years from its very first recorded match in December 1889, through to the present day. You can now view details on some 4,700 fixtures the club has played in, 2,000 players that have played for the Rebels, and the 400 or so clubs Slough have played against in their history. Many thanks also go to club historian Alan Smith and John Tebbit, who over the years have amassed vast amounts of information on the club.

Whilst the process of inputting this data into a working database for the website has now been completed, we now appeal to supporters for help in ‘filling in the blanks’.

You will notice that we have match reports and player profile information for recent seasons. Over the coming weeks and months, we hope to add as much detail as we can to these. However, going back further in time, and particularly pre-1990, we are missing match reports and player information, and in many cases, forenames and surnames of some players.

We would therefore welcome all offers of information and help from our supporter base. Do you have any old newspaper cuttings with match reports, player information and pictures? Or perhaps any old Slough programmes with any useful information?

If you think you can help, please get in contact via the links on the Official Website, and remember to state the source of your information so we can give credit where necessary.

We are still working on some other cosmetic changes, and will also be adding some features to the existing layout, and ask that, if you discover errors or have any suggestions for improvements, please get in touch.

The club would like to thank Alan, John, as well as Tom Gathern, Gary Thomas, and Oli Huish for putting in a tremendous amount of their own time and effort on this project.
