Further to our announcement last month, we can provide a brief update on progress to our supporters.
The relevant paperwork has been submitted by the directors of A23 Football Group and the directors of Slough Town Football Club, and lodged with the Football Association and the National League.
We await the necessary approvals from both organisations before we can officially announce A23 Football Group as the new owners of Slough Town Football Club.
Whilst we cannot put a timeframe on this, we do not expect any issues and are moving ahead with plans for the remainder of this season and beyond, including continued support to strengthen the first team squad, community projects and Talent ID events to identify academy players for next season.
Once the change of ownership has been approved, we intend to hold a fans forum at Arbour Park to coincide with an open training session, with the date to be confirmed as soon as possible.
