Kai Allsopp has signed for Isthmian League South Central division side Ascot United on loan for three months.
18-year-old midfielder Kai is an Academy23 graduate who joined Scott Davies’ first team for the 2023/24 season. He has previously gained experience at Step 3 with Beaconsfield Town and was also previously with Reading's academy.
Scott Davies commented: "Very much like Oscar (Lucey) going on loan to Thame, the chance came for Kai to go and experience competitive football once again after having a taste of it last season with Beaconsfield Town in the Southern Premier League.
"His time at Ascot will be invaluable, joining a side that will be extremely competitive at Step 4.
"Going on loan is extremely important for younger players as part of their development and it’s the next best stepping stone in their careers to learn what it means to get three points on a Saturday afternoon."
