We are saddened to learn the news of the passing of former player Charlie Strutton, aged 34.
Charlie joined Slough Town on loan from Braintree Town in October 2015 and scored 6 goals in 16 appearances in the Southern League. He began his career as a junior at Chalfont St Peter before progressing to the senior team, where he was a prolific goal scorer. He turned professional after joining AFC Wimbledon in 2012 and later had spells on loan at Maidenhead United, Braintree Town and Aldershot Town before joining Braintree permanently.
