We are pleased to announce the signing of forward Trae Cook-Appiah on loan from Wealdstone until the end of the season.
Prior to joining Wealdstone last month, Trae had been making headlines in the Southern League, where his electrifying pace and prowess in front of goal attracted interest from clubs higher up the pyramid.
Manager, Scott Davies commented: “I’m really pleased to have signed Trae on loan until the end of the season. Yella and I went to watch Walton & Hersham in September when they played Hayes & Yeading and that night Trae caught our eye. We did submit a 7-day approach but unfortunately for us it proved to be unsuccessful because of where we were in the league at the time.
“In terms of his profile, he really fits the bill. His pace has caused problems all season in the Southern Premier League and it was no surprise to see that Wealdstone have now secured his signature.
“He’s certainly a talented young player and someone that we are looking forward to working with between now and the end of the season.”
