I’m excited to meet the new recruits, get on the training pitch, and be part of what promises to be one of the most exciting and high-profile campaigns in National League South
Ryan Case
Slough Town Football Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Ryan Case as our new First Team Coach.
Ryan will work closely alongside Scott Davies and the first team management group while continuing in his current role as Head Coach of the Elite Development Squad (EDS).
Since joining the club in 2024, Ryan has made a significant impact within the academy structure, with several players progressing to first team involvement under his guidance. His dual role will help further strengthen the vital pathway between our EDS and senior squad.
Manager Scott Davies welcomed the appointment:
“Bringing Ryan into the group as First Team Coach is great news. We’ve known each other for a long time having played against one other in our younger days, but have got to know one another even more so since he joined the club as the EDS Head Coach.
“His enthusiasm, work ethic and talent as a coach are a massive plus for myself, the staff and the playing squad. Having seen some of his sessions and been around the EDS on several match days, I’ve been really impressed with his knowledge of the game and the attention to detail he provides for the EDS players. I believe this is a great fit for us all.”
Ryan Case shared his excitement at stepping into the new role:
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to take this next step, and even more so to do it alongside Scott, who is someone I’ve known since the early days of senior football. Having played against each other across both professional and semi-pro levels, I know exactly what he stands for, and our principles align strongly.
“Scott is a talented up and coming manager whose ambition and values mirror my own. Our styles complement each other well, and with the management team he’s built, I believe we’ve got the perfect platform to make a real impact this season.
“I’m excited to meet the new recruits, get on the training pitch, and be part of what promises to be one of the most exciting and high-profile campaigns in National League South.
“I have huge admiration for Scott and the work he’s done already, and with the team around us, I believe we can give the fans the excitement they deserve and make the 2025/26 season one to remember!”
CEO Ashley Smith added:
“We’re delighted to announce Ryan Case’s appointment as First Team Coach, working alongside Scott and his management team while continuing his role with our Elite Development Squad. Since joining Slough Town in 2024, Ryan has been a key figure within our academy structure and fully represents the values we stand for as a club.
“His passion for nurturing talent—on and off the pitch—has already played a significant role in the development of several academy players who have progressed into the first team. This dual role will not only strengthen the connection between our academy and senior squad but also bring invaluable continuity and insight to the coaching team.
“Ryan’s enthusiasm, work ethic, and attention to detail are second to none, and I know he’s incredibly excited to get started. I have no doubt his presence will have a hugely positive impact on the players and staff around him.”
Please join us in congratulating Ryan and wishing him every success in his new role.
