One of the stalwarts of the reserve team, although still very much a youngster, is inside-forward Michael Woodford. Michael, son of Edgar, a former player and now one of our coaches, was one of the original Slough Town Minors and gained prominence in their team which won promotion to Division 1 of the Youth League.Towards the end of last season he was introduced into the reserves and has consistently kept his place. A constructive, ball-playing forward, he is often the brains behind the reserves' attack. He has also had a couple of outings for the first team and this season has been consistently knocking on the door leading to a regular place in the senior team.
