Dean Clark Position: Midfielder

Dean is a midfielder who is equally comfortable in attack, signed from Beaconsfield SYCOB in late 2009.

He will be well-known to many Rebels fans having played locally for Hayes, Windsor & Eton, Northwood, Woking, Uxbridge, Maidenhead and most recently AFC Hayes. Dean is a set-piece specialist with a good eye for goal.

He was originally a professional who made a handful of appearances for Brentford and then went on to play for a variety of teams local to north and west London, including making over one hundred appearances for Northwood across five seasons. He twice won the Northwood Golden Boot award for top goalscorer, in the 2004–05 and 2005–06 seasons. He made his Football League debut against Luton Town in January 1998. He made four appearances overall and was loaned for three months to Uxbridge in December 1999. Whilst at Hayes, he played in the same team as former Rebels Ryan Spencer and Ian Hodges, and Clark scored a penalty kick against Wycombe Wanderers in an televised FA Cup tie, though Hayes would eventually lose the game 4–3.
