Bio

Centre-half Matt Day joined Slough Town in March 2018 on loan from National League South side Wealdstone.

Day is an imposing centre half who is dominant vocally and aerially. He spent seven years at Hungerford Town under Bobby Wilkinson, and because Wilkinson's first signing as Wealdstone manager when he moved in the summer of 2017.

Rebels supporters may remember Matt from the Hungerford side which gained promotion to National League South via the Southern League Premier Division playoffs in 2015/16.

Prior to joining Hungerford, Matt had a successful three-year spell at Oxford United in the Conference and also spent a short period at Eastleigh. He began his career at Portsmouth and also had a brief spell at Oxford City.
